About

Since its inception in late 2020, the Devon Food Partnership has been building momentum, connecting farmers, business owners, food charities and schools across the county. Our collaboration brings together voices from these sectors alongside universities, research institutions, and public services, including Public Health, Waste and Recycling, Trading Standards and Climate Emergency. Our goal is to unite all parts of the food system, a system which impacts the lives of everyone in Devon.

  • The Devon Food Partnership is part of a network of more than 120 food partnerships nationally. Guided by Sustainable Food Places, we collaborate locally and nationally to build a fairer, healthier and more sustainable food system.

  • We support the development of a localised, sustainable food system and seek to tackle the issues of food poverty, diet-related ill health, food waste and unsustainable farming practices.

  • Our steering group unites stakeholders from across Devon, while specialist working groups drive action in key food areas.
