Good to Grow Day is a national weekend of action from Friday 21st to Monday 24th April for edible gardens to celebrate the new growing season, open their doors to the local community, and encourage people to volunteer.
Good to Grow (previously known as the Big Dig) is an online platform to support food growing in the UK, run by Sustain. Gardens can register to the Good to Grow Network for free to connect with local volunteers and other organisations, and to participate in co-ordinated events such as Good to Grow Day.
Good to Grow Day is a chance for anyone and everyone to visit their local garden and celebrate Spring, while supporting and enjoying all of the valuable community spaces around the UK. No gardening experience is required to participate.
